Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. She received critical acclaim as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first TV role on CBS soap drama Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among the credits of her films. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with The Immortals) is thought to be in production.
